Description
Quantum Hot Start Mastermix is a ready-to-use 2x mix for fast, highly-specific, hot-start PCR.
Quantum Hot Start Mastermix is powerd by antibody mediated hot-start and does not possess polymerase activity during the reaction set-up, thus reducing non-specific amplification.
The advanced formulation of Quantum Hot Start Mastermix allows fast cycling conditions to be used, highly reducing the reaction time without compromising PCR specificity and yield, making it ideal for high-throughput.
Quantum Hot Start Mastermix contains all the reagents including PL Taq buffer, dNTPs, MgCI2, enhancers and stabilizers necessary for trouble-free PCR reaction set up. The products is supplied conveniently all-in-one tube to reduce the number of pipetting steps and to facilitate increased efficiency, throughput and reproducibility. This makes Quantum Hot Start Mastermix perfect for techniques such as Multiplex PCR that require the ability to define a set of common reaction parameters to all of the primer sets in the reaction, with comparable extension efficiencies, Even though the amplicons are different sizes. Quantum Hot Start Mastermix enables success in Multiplex PCR at the first attempt and can even be used for fast multiplex PCR, without special kits, buffer or optimization.

Mercury DNA Polymerase for Hot Start – 5Units/ul
Features
Outstanding and robust performance
For PCR assays requiring hot-start
Convenient set up at room temperature
Leaves ‘A’ overhang
Application
Ultra-high specificity for multiplex reactions
TA cloning
Description
Mercury DNA Polymerase is a heat-activated thermostable DNA polymerase. Mercury DNA. Polymerase provides extremely high yield and improved specificity when compared to standard polymerases and can eliminate the presence of non-specifics, such as primer-dimers and mis-primed products. Mercury DNA Polymerase is inactive at room temperature and therefore prior to PCR cycling, requires activation by heat treatment for 10 minutes. This facilitates flexibility in reaction setup. Including premixing of PCR reagents at room temperature. Subsequently, the reaction can be handled according to the user's existing protocols for thermostable DNA polymerases.
